With a career spanning over 15 years in the makeup industry, working in fashion, editorial, runway, film and bridal, Memo has gained a depth of experience that is coupled with a passion for working with makeup. Throughout these years, Memo has worked as a freelance Make-up Artist and held role such as National Trainer through to Floor Manager in retail. This allows Memo to see not just only creativity but also provide a commercial focus in getting the job done and to the highest quality possible.
Memo, with his enthusiasm, dedication and love of makeup coupled with his affable outgoing and easy personality, gives him the ability to communicate professionally both with models and clients, he is able to add to the success of any project, allowing them to achieve their vision which will be enhanced with his ideas, motivation and experience. Memo’s diverse background creates a unique style accredited only to his and his artistic flair.
After completing his studies at Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto, Canada. Memo began his journey working on various Cosmetics companies such as MAC and Estee Lauder, where soon enough, he progressed to Product Knowledge Specialist on motivating and training staff on new product launches, moving to Special Event Co-ordinator travelling to various locations across Canada and co-ordinated models, displays and set designs.
As make up and industry changed Memo continued furthering his education recognising that to keep up with the industry he also had to grow and develop his skills with it. In exploring his passion he has grown his knowledge with training in Special Effects and Air Brush. Also branching out to make his skills more holistic Memo has also become a Hair Stylist which only enhances his ability to work in the freelancing space in various films and commercials.
In 2006, Memo made the move to Sydney, Australia. Where he continue working on various projects from Feature and Short Films, Fashion Shows, Music Videos and Photo Shoots.
